    How long does it take?

    The full appointment is 30–45 minutes. The exercise test runs 10–15 minutes, with setup and a full results review with your coach on either side.

    What equipment is used?

    Testing is performed on a stationary bike, rowing machine, or step protocol — depending on your fitness background and goals.

    How is this different from my smartwatch?

    Wearables estimate VO₂ max using algorithms and population averages. PNOE directly measures your oxygen consumption breath by breath. The accuracy difference is significant — especially for training zone precision.
