WHAT ARE THE MAIN BENEFITS OF HIRING A PERSONAL TRAINER?

Most people fail to achieve their fitness goals because they don’t know how to make the best use of their exercise time. If you freestyle your workouts based upon what you’ve seen on Instagram or you’ve been doing the same workouts for years, you owe it to yourself to get a program designed by an experienced personal trainer. A great trainer will design a personalized fitness program to ensure you optimize your workout time in order to reach your goals. You'll learn how to train smart and how to use proper technique to ensure that you move well and prevent injury.

WHAT TYPE(S) OF TRAINING DO THE PERSONAL TRAINERS AT AUM TRAINING CENTER HAVE?

All of the personal trainers at aum training center have at least one nationally recognized and independently accredited personal training certification, such as from NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, and ISSA. All of these certifying bodies require continuing education in order to maintain certifications. In addition, every aum training center personal trainer completes over 100 hours of in-house training annually to ensure they are experts in the most cutting-edge strategies for optimizing your results.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE INITIAL FITNESS CONSULTATION?

At your one-hour fitness consultation, you’ll be matched with one of our dedicated Boston personal trainers who will take the time to get to know you and hear about everything you’re looking to accomplish. They’ll give you a tour of our private fitness studio overlooking beautiful Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay, while also reviewing your health history, past injuries, and eating and exercise habits. This enables your personal trainer to design a personalized plan that inspires, challenges, and transforms you. In order to provide our personal training members with the highest level of personal attention, we accept a limited number of new applicants each month.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I MEET WITH MY PERSONAL TRAINER?

Every person is unique and the number of times you meet with your personal trainer each week is largely based upon your goals, schedule, and budget. Because it takes time to develop a new routine and establish a foundation of fitness, we recommend that you meet with your personal trainer 2 to 3 times per week. After you’ve trained for a few months and you’ve learned the fundamental movement patterns, your personal trainer will discuss with you the best approach to keep you progressing forward.

HOW LONG IS EACH PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION?

Each individual personal training session is either 30 or 60 minutes, based upon the package you purchase.

WHAT IF I'VE NEVER WORKED OUT BEFORE?

Don’t worry… we’ve got you! Your first month of personal training will be focused on starting you off slow and mastering the basics. Our expert personal trainers will design a plan based upon your current fitness level. You’ll learn how to train safely and effectively in order to build confidence and prevent injury. We welcome individuals of all levels, regardless of experience, age, or ability.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM PERSONAL TRAINING AT AUM TRAINING CENTER?

First and foremost, you’ll establish a trusted relationship with a personal trainer who’s truly invested in your health. Becoming a member of aum training center means getting more than just a personal trainer. You get a trusted coach who's completely committed to giving you everything you need to succeed. No more feeling frustrated, wondering what to do or how to do exercises safely and effectively. No need for long, time-consuming workouts that often do more harm than good. Your personal trainer will teach you proper technique to prevent injury and guide you through progressive, fun, science-based workouts that will make you stronger, leaner, and fitter in a fraction of the usual time. You’ll receive exactly what you need, given your preferences, so it is not only doable, but enjoyable. You’ll also experience a level of accountability and support you’ve never received before to help you build a healthy habits for life. You will be able to contact your own personal trainer whenever you need help, tips, advice, or just someone to give you some extra encouragement. They will also check in on your off-days to congratulate you on your success and keep you on track.
